New Wait Time Calculations for Meet on Demand
Wait times now provide a more accurate, real-time view of availability for Meet on Demand (MoD) and Staff Pooling.
What’s new:
- Complex availability scenarios: Wait times now account for staff, rooms, services, meeting channels, and staff and room combinations.
- Unified queues: Cross-location availability and more complex staff assignments support MoD and Remote in Branch experiences.
- Automatic updates: Wait times are precomputed and updated as frequently as every 30 seconds, with no manual page refresh required.
- Clearer availability: Unavailable appointments now appear in red, making it easier to see what can and cannot be booked in real time.
The new calculations will be available to accounts with Meet on Demand on October 28, 2026.
Configure Lobby for Specific Locations
Administrators can now control whether Lobby is enabled at each location, giving organizations more flexibility to reflect how Lobby services are offered across their branch network.
When Lobby is disabled for a location, it no longer appears in related client-facing or staff-facing experiences, including availability, walk-in options, wait times, remote walk-in routing, staff selection of Lobby locations, the Dashboard lobby queue, and Lobby TV.
What’s new:
- Location-level control: Authorized administrators can turn Lobby on or off for a specific location in Location settings.
- Consistent Lobby behaviour: Disabled locations no longer appear as available for Lobby-related actions across client-facing and staff-facing experiences.
- Existing behaviour preserved: Locations remain enabled by default, so existing Lobby behaviour continues unless the setting is changed.
The new Lobby configurations will be available to accounts with Lobby on October 28, 2026.
