Appointment Management
Unassigned Appointment Management
Keep client appointments on track when a staff member is deactivated. Managers can now quickly identify upcoming appointments left unassigned and arrange coverage before clients are affected.
What’s new:
- Notify managers responsible for affected locations when a staff deactivation leaves appointments unassigned.
- Show the number of affected appointments, along with relevant location, service, date, and time details.
- Link managers to the relevant schedule or appointment view so they can review and reassign appointments.
This update will be available on November 25, 2026, for all accounts except those using Quickstream. If your organization uses Quickstream, contact your account representative to discuss availability.
Lobby
Location-Level Lobby Configuration
Keep Lobby availability aligned with how each location operates. Administrators can now turn Lobby on only at locations ready to offer it, making phased rollouts easier to manage.
What’s new:
- Turn Lobby on or off from a location’s settings.
- Remove disabled locations from client- and staff-facing Lobby experiences, including walk-in availability, routing, wait times, the Dashboard Lobby queue, and Lobby TV.
- Keep locations enabled by default, preserving existing behavior unless an administrator changes the setting.
This update will be available on November 25, 2026, for all accounts with the Lobby add-on.
Control Lobby Notifications by Line of Business
Keep Lobby notifications aligned with each line of business. Administrators can manage client and staff notifications separately, making it easier to pause messages where they are not needed.
What’s new:
- Manage client and staff Lobby notifications independently.
- Turn off Lobby-generated email and SMS notifications for clients, staff, or both.
- Configure notification controls for a specific line of business.
This feature is now available for all accounts, including those with multiple lines of business, but it needs to be manually enabled. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature.
Advanced Matching
Localization
Help clients find the right advisor in a language they understand. Advanced Matching now supports localized questions and answers in your organization’s enabled languages, while guiding clients through the same best-fit booking logic.
What’s new:
- Add translated labels, placeholders, and answer options to funnel questions.
- Offer the experience in the languages enabled for your organization.
- Keep routing logic consistent across languages.
Administrators
When configuring a funnel, add translations for every question and answer option. Complete translations across all questions to give clients a consistent experience. For setup guidance, see our Help Centre article.
This update is now available for all accounts with the Advanced Matching add-on.
Appointment Scheduling Client View
Radius-Based Search for Other Locations
Help clients find an appointment nearby when their preferred location has no availability. Search can now include locations within the configured radius, even across state or provincial borders.
What’s new:
- View available appointment times at nearby locations.
- See nearby locations across state or provincial borders.
- Get clearer updates while Coconut searches for additional availability.
This feature is now available, but needs to be manually enabled. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature.
Calendar & Scheduling
Canadian Timezone Updates for Western and Central Canada
Coconut supports the November 1, 2026 time zone changes affecting British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Western Ontario. When locations and staff profiles use the appropriate Canadian time zones, appointment confirmations and notifications display the correct time. A change in the displayed time zone label does not itself change the appointment time.
Action items
Administrators should review affected location and staff time zone settings and replace any U.S.-based Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones with the appropriate Canadian time zones. If the settings are already correct, no change is needed. Also check that affected devices and browsers are up to date and that device and Exchange or Outlook time zone settings are correct.
Recurring events
Recurring appointments and Away/Busy blocks created before September 28, 2026 may appear one hour off for occurrences on or after November 1. Review affected series and follow the FAQ guidance to delete and recreate any that are one hour off. This includes recurring busy blocks synced from Outlook.
For regional time zone settings, recurring-event instructions, and additional guidance, see our Daylight Saving Time Changes in Western and Central Canada FAQ.
